SHiFT is a platform designed by therapists to accelerate personal growth and mental well-being. Our innovative approach centers on fostering emotional maturity with our ongoing library of MasterSessions. Our content is designed to guide our users through personalized reflection exercises and an experiential training.

As emotional maturity develops, we transition from a trial-and-error approach to life, to a deeper understanding of ourselves and our relationships. This transformation allows us to emerge as empowered individuals, equipped with the knowledge, insights and skills to navigate life more effectively.

What They Say About Our MasterSessions

  • I was hooked

The moment that he started speaking, I was hooked. I watched the whole MasterSession in one sitting. I cried throughout because it touched me as a human being and it touched me as a clinician working with LGBTQ people. There are some parts where I had to rewind because I'm like, wait, I need to hear that again. It really moved me.

    — Brian Loveless, Psychotherapist

  • Realized I need to deal

Watching these MasterSessions and digging into my past wasn't easy, but it hit me that it's something I need to face head-on, especially with my work in the athlete realm. There's this unspoken pressure to keep a tough exterior. The MasterSession brought up a lot of stuff I've been carrying and made me realize that I need to deal with it to be the kind of father and partner I aspire to be.

    — Chuck Figueroa, Meyer Global Management

  • An engaging conversation

The MasterSession didn’t feel like a long lecture but more of an engaging conversation. It made me think, Who is this guy and how can I have him as my therapist?

    — Sarah B., 24, Art Student, Florida

  • I can tangibly apply this

I love how the instructor is explaining in detail how to dig deeper into our childhood memories and feelings, and gave examples from his personal life. This information feels so accessible, and I feel like I can tangibly apply it to my life. With some online videos, the speaker’s' tone and voice can begin to feel preachy, and they talk about abstract concepts without anchoring them in concrete, tangible examples.

    — Emily P., 30, Stylist, Florida

  • Instructor is so passionate

The instructor was so passionate. His demeanor and tone is calm and gentle and I felt I was safe listening to him. He used common words and phrases to help me understand unfamiliar concepts about behavior, boundaries and beliefs, which makes this information so accessible.

    — Sasha H., 22, Senior at University of Southern California

  • Beautiful. Moving. Powerful.

I love how the instructor talks about what the viewer can do step-by-step, and then applies the process to his own life, which is so valuable. To see this incredibly strong human cry in response to feeling home, and feeling a sense of belonging for the first time in his life was so heartbreaking, beautiful, moving and powerful.

    — Tia M., 45, Resilience Coach, Florida

  • A road map to change

A lot of videos you see online are talking about our problems, but they don’t actually help you to do anything about it if you are stuck in life. These MasterSessions take you through a step-by-step process of identifying aspects of your life, and then provides a roadmap to change. It dives deep into childhood aspects with direct answers on why and how they affect your life and how to change.

    — Calvin M., 27, Professional Soccer Player, Los Angeles

  • I could feel a shift inside

When the instructor said, “I can take my own life into my own hands … we don’t have to be a victim to what happened to us,” I could feel a shift inside. It gave me goosebumps. He is an incredible speaker and a special human being.

    — Laura D., 58, Stay-at-home Mom and Art Lover, Florida

  • Accessible and applicable

I’m so invested in this series and I am really resonating with everything the instructor is talking about. His content is absolutely fantastic because it’s accessible and applicable. I am easily able to understand how I can apply these concepts to my life immediately.

    — Jackie S., 29, Software Developer, San Francisco

  • Great addition to therapy

After watching these MasterSessions, I was surprised at how they’re able to condense years of therapeutic insights into bite-sized videos. As an athlete, I was extremely busy and sometimes felt burdened to read books my therapist recommended, but watching these sessions are an incredible addition to my therapy process.

    — Lacey Z., West Virginia University, Volleyball (2018-2022)

  • I got goosebumps

The MasterSession was so powerful. I loved how the instructor shares her triumph over trauma and how she is more than a survivor. Because she had endured trauma, she was more credible, as opposed so someone that has has never experienced trauma and trying to counsel people that have. I got goosebumps when she said she is now “symptom free.” Although I have never experienced her level of trauma, it brings hope to me for those I know have.

    — Jeannie H., 57, Executive, Nashville

  • We see their humanity

This content is so relatable and enlightening. Listening to therapists sharing their stories is a powerful way to deliver education. We can put therapists on a pedestal, believing they are all knowing and have “the answers” but here we get to see their humanity. This kind of content will certainly change the way people experience their daily life and their relationships.

    — Olivia J., 37, Mom, Cocoa Beach

  • I felt trust in him

The instructor does an incredible job delivering on a topic most people don’t even understand is at the root of their struggles. He explains a phenomenon is a way that is approachable, clear, and believable. I felt trust in him and what he was teaching, which allowed me to listen freely and really absorb these life lessons.

    — Mia M. 30, Graphic Designer and Artist, Serbia

  • Offers practical tools

The vulnerability in sharing his personal story is really powerful. I love how the instructor offers practical tools for understanding, identifying and changing the patterns developed during childhood that limit our happiness. He models what it looks like to truly have compassion for yourself during your own healing journey.

    — Sheila Eggert, Transformation Coach, Author and TEDx speaker
